Laredo area drivers who want to own or lease a new midsize SUV and are ready to make the move to an electric vehicle will love the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV. While this new model has the Blazer name, this isn’t simply a standard Blazer with an electric powertrain. Chevrolet has developed these models separately in order to take full advantage of what was possible with each. There are three trims available for the Laredo area 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV. The LT is the base trim. The RS is a sportier up-level trim, and the SS is a performance-oriented sportier model. All of them are available for preorder now. The LT and RS will arrive first, and the SS will be available later in the model year.

The Laredo area 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV is a midsize crossover SUV with four doors and a rear liftgate. Ground clearance is 7.9 inches. The wheelbase is 121.8 inches, and the length is 192.2 inches or a hair more than 16 feet. All models have a Black roof. That results in a monotone appearance when you choose Black as your exterior. You also have the option of a dual-tone appearance by choosing Summit White, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Red Hot, Galaxy Gray Metallic or Riptide Blue Metallic. The LT has 19-inch alloy wheels. The RS has 21-inch wheels, roof rails and an LED light bar integrated into the grille.

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV available at Ancira Winton Chevrolet is a five-passenger vehicle. Headroom is about 41 inches in the front row and 38 inches in the rear. Front legroom is about 44 inches. Second-row legroom is almost 39 inches, and dedicated cargo space impresses at more than 25 cubic feet. Base equipment includes simulated leather upholstery, automatic climate control, a digital instrument panel, a 17.7-inch touch screen and a six-speaker audio system. The RS adds a wireless charging pad, a heated steering wheel and front seats that are heated, ventilated and power-adjustable. Note that the equipment for the SS had not been officially announced as of this writing.

The LT has standard all-wheel drive and provides 279 miles of EPA-estimated range. The RS comes standard that way as well, or you can opt for rear-wheel drive with a larger battery pack. The advantage of doing so is an increased in estimated range to 320 miles. What we know about the SS is that it will have AWD, provide 294 miles of estimate range and go zero to 60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Standard equipment includes a 17.7-inch touch screen, Google Built-in, integrated navigation, forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning with steering assist and blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warning with intervention. A Convenience & Driver Confidence suite, which is available with all trims, included adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic braking, intersection collision mitigation, rear automatic braking and a surround-view camera. With the RS and presumably the SS, that package also adds a head-up display.
