Drivers in the market for a full-size SUV will be interested to learn that the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban is now available at Ancira Winton Chevrolet serving San Antonio Castroville Laredo Selma Austin. The focus for this model year was adding more customization options, including more paints and wheel designs. Super Cruise has been introduced for this model and is available via the upper trims. The more powerful V8 engine has had its power increased, and the sportier RST has received an array of mechanical tweaks.
Ancira Winton Chevrolet offers the Suburban as either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and the Z71 is the only model to include four-wheel drive as standard equipment. There are three powertrains available, and all of them feature a 10-speed automatic transmission regardless of drive layout. Most models come standard with a 5.3L V8 engine: 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The High Country comes standard with a 6.2L V8 engine—420 hp and 460 lb.-ft.—and you can opt for this engine with the RST, Z71 and Premier trim levels. There is also a 3.0L inline six-cylinder diesel engine—277 hp and 460 lb.-ft.—and it is optional with all trim levels with the exception of the Z71.
The base equipment package for the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban includes an 8-inch infotainment touch screen, a rearview monitor, frontal collision alert with intervention, lane departure alert with intervention and front and rear parking sensors. There are also a number of other driver assists that can be added as options or through the upper trim levels. These include a 10.2-inch screen, a surround-view camera, blind-spot alert, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display and rear pedestrian alert.
Standard equipment for the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban in San Antonio includes keyless lock/unlock, push-button start and remote start. Alloy wheels are standard, and wheels range from 18 to 22 inches. The RST is a sportier trim level and includes many sport-oriented mechanical enhancements. Likewise, the Z71 is an off-road model and includes many enhancements for off-roading. Max Trailering and Advanced Trailering packages are available across the board, and the max towing capacity is 8,300 pounds.
The LS is the base trim level and most affordable. The LT targets the average customer with additional amenities and technologies. The RST is aimed at the driver who wants a sportier experienced, and the Z71 is aimed at the off-road enthusiast. The Premier is a luxury model, and this is the point in the lineup where you get an enhanced suspension for improved ride comfort. The High Country is the flagship model and similar to the Premier, but it adds the bigger engine and some exclusives.
Starting with the base trim level, you have nine color options for your 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. Radiant Red Tricoat is a premium option, and the other eight colors are included in the MSRP. Those are Summit White, Sterling Gray Metallic, Silver Sage Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Empire Beige Metallic, Dark Ash Metallic, Black and Auburn Metallic. Beyond the base model, you have the option of Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, which is a premium paint.
