2024 Chevrolet Trax Overview
The 2024 Chevrolet Trax is now available at Ancira Winton Chevrolet, and this new model launches the vehicle’s second generation. The new Trax is bigger than before and thus roomier inside, and Chevrolet has transitioned to a turbocharged three-cylinder engine. It isn’t as powerful on paper as the outgoing four-cylinder but delivers a similar experience while being more fuel efficient. Front-wheel drive is the standard drive layout, and all-wheel drive is not offered as an option. The cabin is more upscale than before. Second-row legroom is almost 39 inches and therefore roomy enough for most adults, and the dedicated cargo area is downright impressive for the segment at almost 26 cubic feet.
LS Trim
The LS is the first of the 2024 Chevrolet Trax trim levels and most affordable. It has LED headlamps and 17-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers. The cabin has cloth seating, air conditioning, an 8-inch infotainment touch screen, in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot and a four-speaker audio system. The standard suite of driver-assistance technologies includes automatic high-beam headlamps, a rearview camera system, forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning with steering assist and automatic lane centering. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic warning is offered as an option with all trim levels. The optional LS Convenience package upgrades the wheels to aluminum and adds heated front seats, heated, power-adjustable mirrors and remote engine start.
1RS Trim
The 1RS is the second of the trims available at Ancira Winton Chevrolet, and it’s based on the LS plus all of the contents from the LS Convenience package. It also adds a heated, flat-bottomed steering wheel, and that flat-bottomed wheel is exclusive to the RS trims. This trim also adds 18-inch aluminum wheels that are exclusive to it, and what sets the RS trims apart from the non-RS models is that they have a sportier appearance package with gloss-black trim and unique front and rear fascia designs. This is also the point in the lineup in which a sunroof and a wireless charging pad become available as standalone options.
LT Trim
The LT continues on from where the LS left off both in terms of the appearance and feature set. The wheels are upgraded to aluminum at this point, and this is also the first of the trim levels for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax to include roof rails. It also adds push-button ignition, automatic climate control, an 11-inch touch screen, a digital instrument panel and a six-speaker sound system, and the optional LT Convenience package adds keyless entry, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and heated, power-adjustable mirrors. This is also the point in the lineup that traffic-adaptive cruise control becomes available as a standalone option.
2RS Trim
The 2RS is to the LT what the 1RS is to the LS. It includes all of the LT’s base equipment plus the LT Convenience package. It has the sportier exterior aesthetic along with 19-inch alloy wheels that are unique to this trim level.
ACTIV Trim
The last of the trim levels for the 2024 Chevrolet Trax is quite similar to the 2RS in terms of MSRP and its standard equipment. The main difference is that the ACTIV has a more rugged rather than sportier appearance package. It also has 18-inch wheels that are unique to it, and it upgrades the cabin with a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
